This group of voyageurs pushed from the camp dock on Monday towards to the Cache Bay ranger station. Once at the Station, the boys will check in with Janice for the necessary permits before heading into Quetico Provincial Park. The Quetico is very similar to the American Boundary Waters, but it allows fewer travelers and no motorboats, making for a very secluded adventure.
The boys plan to visit Silver Falls on Tuesday before continuing on into the Saganagons where they will base camp and spend each day traveling and exploring the Park. The Saganagons and its bays and rivers offer an incredible fishing experience so we are excited to see the pictures and hear the stories of the mighty Canadian Pike when the group returns.
