Girls Camp in the BWCAW

August 11, 2015

The girls camp sessions may be over for the summer of 2015, but this group of voyageurs signed on for one more adventure.  The girls in the picture (along with TJ the wilderness director at BWG) pushed from the camp dock today heading into the Boundary waters.  The route these girls will follow is one of the favorites here at boys camp.

They will first head north into Lake Saganaga and then turn to the west to cross the big lake.  Once they get near American Point they will decide whether to keep heading along the U.S./Canadian border or head south into Red Rock Bay.  Once the group hits Eddy Falls they will loop around and take the alternative track back towards Camp.

Click on the photo to see the Girls' current location.  Once you click you will be redirected to a map page with a number of arrows and trip names next to the arrows.  You may have to zoom in a bit to see the names, but the arrow indicates the current location of each trip group.  Find a group that you would like to follow and click on the (+) next to the arrow.  This will reveal the group's track that lead them to their current location.
