Early this morning (5:00am) we had to say goodbye to our first set of 2 weekers; which meant that when we got to breakfast this morning the group felt very small. Although we miss the guys who left, we are excited to welcome some new campers tomorrow. With our small crew, we split into 2 teams and made paper and cardboard planes and threw them off the highest cabin in Camp - the Summit cabin! Everyone had a blast and got awesome paper hats and crowns as prizes. In the afternoon most of the campers spent some time learning to tie knots with our resident climbing and sailing experts; as well as some swimming and riflery. Tonight we picked our trips and 8 Voyageurs will head out before breakfast tomorrow to drive to Ely, MN to paddle along the Canadian- US border on our Voyageurs Highway 1 trip. Keep an eye out tomorrow for a link to follow their adventure.
