Today was a typically busy day at the end of the Gunflint Trail. Everyone participated in activities this morning; including, archery, leather work, swimming and wilderness skills. After lunch we all went out in canoes to learn or practice our paddle strokes and brush up on our t-rescue skills. The weather must have known what we were planning, as the sun came out just in time. This evening the campers and counselors discovered which trips they will be going on tomorrow. They will head out for one night with their cabins, it is a great way for them to get acclimated/reacclimatized with the wilderness. After they found out where they were going, they planned their routes, meals and gear and got everything ready to leave after breakfast tomorrow!
