We are so lucky to have the Alpine Loop right on our doorstep (I know, I know, I say it every year). Not only does it have some of, if not the best fishing in the Boundary Waters; it also has some awesome climbing as well.
This morning we sent a group South into Seagull Lake where they will spend the day climbing and fishing their brains out! They will set up as many climbs as they can possibly fit in and while they are waiting their turn, they will cast as many lines in the water as they possibly can as well. Once they can climb no more they will continue on with their journey and paddle through Alpine Lake and Red Rocks (the aforementioned best fishing in the BWCA) and head back to Camp through Lake Saganaga. This is an awesome trip and I am so excited to hear the stories when they get back on Friday.
