Today could not have been more perfect here at the end of the Gunflint Trail! We woke up to a perfect, cloudless, blue sky that lasted all day. We then, as we do every Saturday, ate our breakfast on the deck. Our SLP then lead a morning of fantastic activities. This group of Seniors is so awesome that the rest of the campers already can't wait for next weeks SLP activities.
This afternoon we enjoyed the weather by opening up the waterfront and our amazing in camp water slide - White Lightning.
After dinner we headed up to Eagle's Nest for a campfire. We had a whole lot of fun, telling stories from our trips, singing songs and giving our awards.
The Biggest Fish of the session was tied and so both Ben M and Jack H won the Stevesie Pin.
The Cleanest Cabin of the session went to Raven Cabin, who had a pretty much perfect record.
These campfires are also tinged with sadness, as we have to say goodbye to some of our group tomorrow, who are heading home. We have had so much fun as a big group and we are bummed to see them leave. They will leave us with awesome memories and we are looking forward to seeing
them next year!
Our 4 weekers, however have 2 more weeks to look forward to and a new group arriving on Monday...we cannot wait!
