Sag Lake Fishing

This group will head into Lake Saganaga and find a campsite at which to spend the next 2 nights. From their base camp they will paddle all around Sag, finding the best fishing spots and also exploring the many different islands that Sag is famous for. It could be a relaxing trip but there are some very keen fisherman in this group so I think that they will do a lot more fishing than relaxing!

Granite River Rapids

The Granite River Rapids trip drove about 10 minutes down the Gunflint Trail and dropped their canoes in at Larch Creek. We picked this entry point as you can only access it when the water is high (which it is). It follows a winding stream that pops out into Larch Lake. It is a super fun little trail. From Larch Lake they will paddle North along the Granite River and end up right back at Camp, it is a stunningly beautiful journey.
