Today our Senior Leadership Program (SLP) left for their 5 day, 4 night trip. They have spent the last few weeks on the trail with the rest of the Campers, learning how to lead and honing their skills. This week, however, is all about them challenging themselves as a group and reflecting on all that they have learned.
As they are our oldest and most experienced campers, they chose and planned their trip (almost) by themselves. They decided to go and explore the area directly South of Camp to see what they can find. We don't very often go that way as there is lots of portaging, but these guys didn't care about that as they wanted to head into new waters. They will go as far South as they can before they turn around and make their way back to Camp. We are all very excited to hear what they report back with!
